We were saddened to hear of Billy Caddell's passing. His obituary was posted in the Charlotte Observer on April 6, 1995:

"William "Billy" Clyde Caddell, 42, of Charlotte died April 4, 1995, at Carolinas Medical Center. Funeral is at 11 a.m. Friday at Hankins & Whittington Furneral Home. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation is 7 to 8:30 tonight (April 6).

Mr. Caddell was a sheet-metal mechanic and an Army veteran." (He served in Vietnam.) "Survivors are his wife, Judie; son, Travis caddell; father, William Caddell of Shallote; brother, Charles Caddell of Wadesboro; sister, Mrs. Diane Shimp of Pennsylvania; stepdaughter, Ms. Rachel Mullis."
