Jackie Poteat (Stephens) VIEW PROFILE

Mrs. Stephens, age 57, of Calabash, NC, formerly of Charlotte, NC, passed away Sunday January 17th, 2010, in her home. She was born in Charlotte, NC on September 20th, 1952. Mrs. Stephens graduated from Harding High School in 1970. She retired from Advanced Bonded Warehouse. Mrs. Stephens was a loving daughter, sister, mother and grandmother and a dear friend to all. A viewing was be held at McEwen Funeral Service, 5716 Monroe Road, Charlotte on Thursday January 21st. A service to celebrate her life was held the following day at McEwen Funeral Service Chapel. Interment was at Sharon Memorial Park. The family received friends at Shannon Suddreth's home. Pallbearers included Chris Suddreth, Chuck Calebro, Brian Cooke, Brian Cooke, Jr, Tyler Hoyle and Todd Reynolds. 

She was preceded in death by her mother Evelyn Poteat and her brother Gene Poteat. Survivors include her husband John Stephens, her father William Poteat, her daughter Tracey Hoyle and husband Bo, her son Brandon Ratcliff and four grandchildren, Christopher Watts, Hailey Rollins and Elizabeth and Tyler Hoyle.
