"Jang" Schmit was a foreign exchange student from Luxenburg. He lived with Phil Simmons, his host family.

Jean died several years ago. He let behind his wife, Yolande, son, Jean and daughter, Julie. He was in the Gendarmerie. The details I received was that he killed himself by accident cleaning his service revolver. Jean was always on special ops to parts of Africa, France, and other places for extended periods and was an officer.
