Phillip David Strickland

I love to see people smile, ALL people, and I enjoy helping those who cross my path in life whenever and wherever I can. I trust in the Lord and His guidance. I am married to a fabulous and easy going wonderful lady whom has been with me since 1977. Those of us who have lived in other countries have learned far more than the average person. Most of all, we have learned that we, as part of the Citizens of the UNITED STATES, know just how advanced and great America really is in comparison's. I salute those whom served in our forces.

I went to Gardner Webb University after Harding. I transferred to CPCC, and then went to UNC-W to finish my BS. From there I applied and entered the School of Dentistry at Manila Central University in the Philippines with my brother Jim. I graduated in 1981,and after Jim passed Florida Boards, I took and passed Florida Boards. after practicing a couple years, my father had cancer so I spent some time with him before he passed. I also applied for a Restorative Internship and was able to earn my US Dental degree with the intern certificate while there. I was asked to stay as a clinical Instructor on the floor, which I did for a year. Jim (my brother) had gotten into a program at New York University College of Dentistry Orthodontic and was given an opportunity to earn his US Dental Degree so I had to pick up the patient load for him as Jim did for me. Jim passed in March28, 2015 and I Retired in last of 2018. I miss Jim a lot, but the grand kids keep you busy.
