We were saddened to hear of the passing, in 1990, of Linda Delores (Crockett) Foster. Her obituary was posted in The Charlotte Observer at the time:

"Mrs. Linda Delores Crockett Foster, 37, of 1814 W. 5th St., Apartment 2, died Feb. 2, 1990. Funeral is 3 p.m. Thursday at United House of Prayer for All People No. 2, where she was a member. Burial will be in York Memorial Park. Visitation is 8 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Alexander Funeral Home. Mrs. Foster, a Charlotte native, was a homemaker and had attended Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools.

Survivors are her husband, Larry; sons, Larry Foster Jr., Lashaun Foster; daughter, Laketria Foster; brothers, Eugene Carr of Natick, Mass., Garvin Crockett Jr., Ronnie Crockett; sister, Mrs. Tonya Odom. The family will be at 242 S. Cloudman St."
